- text: In den letzten Jahren hat die Elektromobilität in der Schweiz stark an Bedeutung gewonnen. Ein wichtiger Teil dieses Wandels ist der stetige Ausbau der Ladeinfrastruktur. Aktuell gibt es im Land über 14‘000 öffentliche Ladepunkte. Doch auch im privaten Bereich werden Lademöglichkeiten immer präsenter. Ladeinfrastrukturen werden zunehmend in der Planung von Neubauten berücksichtigt.

- text: Die öffentliche Beleuchtung trägt wesentlich zur Sicherheit und Orientierung auf dem Bödeli bei. Die Einwohnergemeinden tragen die Stromkosten und bestimmen die Standorte der Leuchten, während die IBI als Eigentümerin für den Betrieb und Unterhalt verantwortlich ist. Im Jahr 2018 begann die IBI mit der Umrüstung der Beleuchtung auf LED-Technologie. Mittlerweile sind 96 Prozent der insgesamt 1773 Leuchten in Interlaken, Unterseen und Matten mit den zeitgemässen Leuchtmitteln ausgestattet. Bis Ende 2027 soll die Umrüstung abgeschlossen sein.

- text: Im Frühjahr 2024 pflanzten Mitglieder des Hege- und Jagdvereins «Hubertus» Interlaken entlang des BLS-Schifffahrtskanals rund 760 einheimische Sträucher. Nach der Entfernung von Neophyten waren Lücken entstanden, die es zu füllen galt. Der Verein hatte sich vorgenommen, im Rahmen der Heckenpflege auch die Artenvielfalt an der Uferböschung beim IBI-Areal, einem fast ausschliesslich mit Brombeeren bewachsenen Abschnitt, zu erhöhen. Die geplante Aktion fand Mitte März 2025 statt. Gepflanzt wurden Hartriegel, Kreuzdorn, Schwarzer Holunder, Faulbaum, Eingriffeliger Weissdorn sowie einige Wildbirnen, eine Baumart, die heute fast nur noch an Seeufern und im Jura vorkommt. Die Forstbaumschule Kleiner Rugen erklärte sich bereit, «Hubertus» eine breite Auswahl an Gehölzen für die Bepflanzung zur Verfügung zu stellen.
